(SPOT.ph) If you are a fan of Thai cinema, you might remember Evil genius, the heist thriller from Thailand, which hit local theaters in October 2017, or a family romantic comedy called Brother of the year in October 2018. If you can’t get enough of Thai blockbusters, GDH 559, the studio behind Evil genius and Brother of the year has a new movie called Host family. It also features Evil genius‘ Teeradon “James” Supapunpinyo.
Supapunpinyo plays a high school student named Min, who dies – and is already in a hospital morgue – before being brought back to life. The only thing is, it’s not actually Min who returns, but the wandering spirit of a different person who has been given a new chance at life by someone called the Guardian (Nopachai Chaiyanam). But just like a foster family (where someone stays with a local while traveling), the new Min’s body is also temporary. He must find out who killed the old Min within 100 days or else lose his new family, friends and love.
